The twelfth day of the internship had the same timeline as the other days at the main CAPN site. This day I mainly concentrated on patient intake. This day was very busy, thus, the majority of the day consisted of checking in patients and taking their vitals. The other person that works the shift with me was not present so I had to do all the patient check in and vitals. Patient check in includes patient history and demographics as well as inputing all the symptoms for the illness or physical for the appointment. I also learned how to read and record TB tests. The second part of the day I preformed administrative tasks such as scanning and faxing documents that I then had to organize within Athena to the correct patients. After that was completed, I cleaned the clinic and preformed any other administrative tasks that needed to be completed.
